CHECK-IN
Guests must call
828-625-8528 in advance and no later than 6pm on the
day of your arrival for check-in procedures and detailed
directions. Guests may check in and arrive between 4pm-9pm,
but all guests (including those who need a late check-in)
must call by 6pm to make arrangements.
DIRECTIONS
From Asheville:
Take Interstate 26
East toward Hendersonville. Take Exit 49A (Old exit #18A –
Bat Cave East) to Hwy 64 east towards Bat Cave. Then follow
the directions below, depending on which cabin you are
traveling to:
(To the River
Cottage) Stay on Hwy 64 East for about 13 miles (Bat Cave
area) until you see Hwy 9, turn left onto Hwy 9 and follow
about ¼ mile and turn left onto the bridge that crosses the
river (name of the road is Rocky River Lane), turn right.
The River Cottage is the 6th cabin on Rocky River Lane. It
is marked "River Cottage".
Parking is behind the cottage along/across the road
(To the Waterfall
Cabin)
Stay on Hwy 64 East for about 15 miles until you get into
the Chimney Rock area, keep following Hwy 64 until you see
Buena Vista Drive (across from the Evening Shade River
Lodge), turn left and follow up to the first stop sign, make
a right at stop sign onto Full Moon Drive. Go about 50
yards and you will see the back of the cabin on your right
(Brown Cabin). Parking is on the road behind the cabin.
(To the Lazy Lodge)
Stay on Hwy 64 East for about 15 miles until you get into
the Chimney Rock area, keep following Hwy 64 until you see
Buena Vista Drive (across from the Evening Shade River
Lodge), turn left and follow up to the first stop sign, make
a right at stop sign onto Full Moon Drive. Go about 60
yards and you will see the back of the Lazy Lodge on your
right (Red Building). Parking is on the road behind the
cabin.
From Atlanta:
Take Interstate 85
North to Interstate 26 West to Exit 67. Turn right on Hwy
108 East and proceed 4.7 miles to Hwy 9 and make a left.
Follow Hwy 9 for about 9 miles until you reach a junction
(and stop sign) for Hwy 64/74 A. Turn left and keep
following Hwy 64/74A. Then follow the directions below,
depending on which cabin you are traveling to:
(To the River
Cottage) Stay on Hwy 64/74A west for 6.5 miles (you will
pass Lake Lure and Chimney Rock and Bat Cave ) and make a
right on Hwy 9, follow Hwy 9 for ¼ mile, turn left onto
bridge that crosses the river (name of road is Rocky River
Lane. Turn right.

From Charlotte:
Take Interstate 85
South to Exit #10 (King’s Mountain and Highway 74 West).
Drive on 74 West for about one hour and get off at Exit #167
and turn right onto Hwy 9 North. Go 14 miles to the stop
sign, turn left at this stop sign onto Hwy 64/74A West.
Then follow the directions below, depending on which cabin
you are traveling to:
(To the River
Cottage) Stay on Hwy 64/74A west 6.5 miles until you get
into Bat Cave (you will pass Lake Lure and Chimney Rock) and
turn right onto Hwy 9, follow for about ¼ mile and turn left
onto the bridge (name of road is Rocky Broad River Lane).
Turn right.
The River
Cottage is the 6th cabin on Rocky River Lane. It is marked
"River Cottage". Parking is behind the cottage
along/across the road
(To the Waterfall
Cabin)
Stay on Hwy 64/74A west about 4 miles, make a right onto
Buena Vista, follow to stop sign and make right (onto Full
Moon Drive) and go about 50 yards and you will see the back

(To the Lazy Lodge)
